All Creatures of Our God and King

Piano by Maria Steele
Lyrics:  St Francis of Assisi

Music :  Geistliche Kirchengesang
Copyright:  1923 J Corwen & Sons, Ltd.

Lyrics:

All creatures of our God and King;
Lift up your voice and with us sing.
Thou burning sun with golden beam;
Thou silver moon with softer gleam.

O praise Him, O praise Him.  Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.

Thou rushing wind that art so strong.
Ye clouds that sail in Heaven along.

O praise Him, Alleluia.

Thou rising moon in praise rejoice.
Ye lights of evening find a voice.

O praise Him, O praise Him.  Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.

Let all things their Creator bless.
And worship Him in humbleness.

O praise Him, Alleluia.

Praise, praise the Father, praise the Son.
And praise the Spirit, three in one.

O praise Him, O praise Him.  Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.

Praise, praise the Father, praise the Son.
And praise the Spirit, three in one.

On My Father’s Side

Duet by Courier (Patrick & Susan Anderson)
Lyrics and Music:  Geneva Buckner, Felecia Shiflett and John Turner

Lyrics:

Just a young boy in the temple one day.
Shared with the doctors; they were so amazed.
Never had they seen one so young speak so swift.
They asked him many questions.  The conversation went like this:

What’s your name son?  On my mother’s side my name is Jesus.
But on my Father’s side they call me Emmanuel.

How old are you?  On my mother’s side now I’m 12 years,
but on my Father’s side I’ve just always been.
Where are you from?  On my mother’s side, I’m from Bethlehem.
But on my Father’s side it is the New Jerusalem.

What’s your plan?  On my mother’s side I’ll be crucified,
But on my Father’s side in 3 days I will rise and
I’ll sit on my Father’s side.

He was the Son of God yet he son of man,
and I can’t help but wonder how Joseph must have felt.
Through an old thin door that day he heard his son replay.
He said “You see, I’m the King of Kings.  That’s on my Father’s side”.

Holy, Holy, Holy

Instrumental duet – Mary Ann Barnett and Bev Miller
Lyrics:  Reginald Heber; Music:  John D Dykes

Lyrics:

Holy Holy Holy, Lord God Almighty.
Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee.
Holy Holy Holy, merciful and mighty.
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity.

Holy Holy Holy, all the saints adore Thee.
Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea.
Cherubim and seraphim, falling down before Thee.
Which wert and art and evermore shall be.

Holy Holy Holy, though the darkness hide Thee.
Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see.
Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee.
Perfect in power, in love and purity.

Holy Holy Holy, Lord God Almighty.
All Thy works shall praise Thy name in earth, in sky and sea.
Holy Holy Holy merciful and mighty.
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity.

Sweet Will of God

Lyrics and Music:  Lelia N Morris.

Lyrics:

My stubborn will at last hath yielded.
I would be Thine, and Thine alone.
And this the prayer my lips are bringing.
“Lord, let in me Thy will be done.”

Sweet will of God, still fold me closer,
Till I am wholly lost in Thee.
Sweet will of God, still fold me closer,
Till I am wholly lost in Thee.

I’m tired of sin, footsore and weary.
The darksome path hath dreary grown.
But now a light has ris’n to cheer me;
I find in Thee my Star, my Sun.

Thy precious will, O conqu’ring Savior,
Doth now embrace and compass me.
All discords hushed, my peace a river.
My soul a prisoned bird set free.

Shut in with Thee, O Lord, forever.
My wayward feet no more to roam;
What pow’r from Thee my soul can sever?
The center of God’s will my home.

And Can It Be

Lyrics:  Charles Wesley; Music:  Thomas Campbell

Lyrics:

And can it be that I should gain
An interest in the Savior’s blood?
Died He for me, who caused His pain..
For me, who Him to death pursued?
Amazing love!  How can it be,
That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?

He left His Father’s throne above
So free, so infinite His grace–
Emptied Himself of all but love,
And bled for Adam’s helpless race:
Tis mercy all, immense and free,
For O my God, it found out me!
Amazing love!  How can it be,
That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?

Long my imprisoned spirit lay,
Fast bound in sin and nature’s night;
Thine eye diffused a quickening ray–
I woke, the dungeon flamed with light;
My chains fell off, my heart was free.
I rose, went forth and followed Thee.
Amazing love!  How can it be,
That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?

No condemnation now I dread;
Jesus, and all in Him, is mine;
Alive in Him, my living head.
And clothed in righteousness divine.
Bold I approach th’ eternal throne,
And claim the crown, through Christ my own.
Amazing love!  How can it be,
That Thou , my God, shouldst die for me?

My Savior First of All

Duet – Bobby Luken/Patrick Anderson
Lyrics:  Fanny J Crosby; Music:  John R Sweney

Lyrics:

When my life’s work is ended and I cross the swelling tide.
When the bright and glorious morning I shall see.
I shall know my Redeemer when I reach the other side,
And His smile will be the first to welcome me.

Chorus:  I shall know Him.  I shall know Him.
And redeemed by His side I shall stand.
I shall know Him , I shall know Him,
By the prints of the nails in His hand.

Oh, the soul thrilling rapture  when I view His blessed face.
And the luster of His kindly–beaming eye!
How my full heart will praise Him for the mercy, love and grace
That prepare for me a mansion in the sky.

Oh, the dear ones in glory how they beckon me to come,
And their parting at the river I recall.
To the sweet vales of Eden they will sing my welcome home,
But I long to meet my Savior first of all.

Through the gates to the city in a robe of spotless white,
He will lead me where no tears will ever fall.
In the glad song of ages I shall mingle with delight,
But I long to meet my Savior first of all.

I Will Glory in the Cross

Duet Rev Jean Halvorson and Jan Halvorson
Lyrics and Music:  Dottie Rambo
Copyright:   Word Music

Lyrics:

I boast not of works or tell of good deeds.
For naught have I done to merit His grace.
All glory and praise shall rest upon Him.
So willing to die in my place.

Chorus:
I will glory in the cross, in the cross.
Lest His suffering all be in vain.
I will weep no more for the cross that He bore.
I will glory in the cross.

My trophies and crowns, my robe stained with sin.
Twas all that I had to lay at His feet.
Unworthy to eat from the table of Life.
Till Love made provision for me.

Chorus:
I will glory in the cross, in the cross.
Lest His suffering all be in vain.
I will weep no more for the cross that He bore.
I will glory in the cross.
